Terms & Conditions.
Last updated: October 12, 2024. Please read these terms carefully before engaging our services.
1. General Provisions
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of architectural concrete and masonry services by Pridecrete ('the Company') to the client ('the Client'). By accepting an estimate, signing a contract, or engaging our services, the Client agrees to be bound unconditionally by these terms. Pridecrete reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
2. Project Scope & Estimates
All estimates and quotes provided are valid for a strict period of 30 days. The scope of work is entirely limited to the descriptions outlined in the finalized contract. Any alterations, additions, or unforeseen site conditions (including but not limited to buried debris, bedrock, unsuitable soil, or severe grade issues) will require a documented Change Order and will incur additional costs.
3. Payment Terms & Schedule
Standard payment terms require a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure project scheduling and initial material procurement. An additional 40% is required upon commencement of site preparation, forming, or excavation. The final 30% is due immediately upon project completion and client walkthrough. Late payments are subject to a 2% monthly interest charge on the outstanding balance.
4. Timelines & Weather Delays
The pouring and curing of architectural concrete is heavily dependent on weather conditions. While we strive to adhere strictly to proposed timelines, Pridecrete reserves the absolute right to adjust, pause, or reschedule work due to rain, extreme heat, or freezing temperatures. This ensures the structural integrity and flawless aesthetic finish of your project.
5. Warranties & Liability
Pridecrete provides a 3-year structural warranty against critical failures not caused by natural ground shifting, extreme acts of nature, heavy machinery impact, or the improper use of de-icing chemicals (such as rock salt). Please note that hairline cracks are a natural characteristic of cured concrete. They are not considered a defect and are not covered under warranty unless they present a definitive structural hazard or exceed 1/4 inch in width.
6. Client Responsibilities & Maintenance
The Client is responsible for ensuring clear property access, securing necessary municipal permits (unless otherwise stated in the contract), and clearing the work area of personal property. Post-installation, the Client must adhere to the provided maintenance guidelines, including the timely re-application of sealants to stamped or exposed aggregate surfaces to preserve color and durability.
